This is a must for anyone who flies today and does not want to worry about getting to the airport only to find out their luggage is overweight. This the best of the portable or travel scales that I bought, because of its ergonomics, it was the easiest to grab when actually weighing a heavy suitcase. Love it!
On my first 2 international trips I over estimated how much my luggage weighed and ended up paying sooooo much money in weight fees. Now I travel with this (which is quite lightweight itself) and I weight my luggage before I head to the airport. I'll move things around to make sure that the weight is distributed such that I won't get charged and then before I get on the plane I reorganize if I need to to have the things I want in my backpack verses my carry on luggage.
